Launched in 2011 as the world’s biggest and most efficient slow-running submersible mixer, the ABS Flow Booster XSB has now been expanded into a complete range. This makes it ideal for wastewater circulation and flow generation in nitrification, denitrification, and chemical phosphate removal stages.

The range has premium-efficiency IE3 motors throughout, as well as refinements that further enhance efficiency and reliability. Among them are newly optimized 2- and 3-blade propeller designs that cover a wide range of thrust requirements. Compared with other slow-running mixer models on the market, the ABS Flow Booster XSB reduces energy consumption by up to 25%, thanks to the efficiency of its IE3 motor.

Large-scale economy

More than 6400N of thrust from the largest ABS Flow Booster XSB and 3-blade propeller can make one mixer sufficient where two would normally have been required. That can mean less capital investment and maintenance. The costs for transport and assembly remain low, thanks to an innovative design where individual propeller blades are attached and detached without special tools. Installation is simple and economical, despite the mixer’s large size.
