Following a recent work scope carried out by OSSO, Muehlhan General Manager, praised the work of the CUL team by stating that “It was a pleasure to engage with CUL and we look forward to further collaborations in the future”.
The recognition came as a result of the client looking for an innovative solution to solve the problem of retaining all free moving liquid and liquors generated through the cleaning processes. With issues of limited footprint on-board, CUL worked with Muehlhan to review the wastes, the client’s most favourable outcome and the equipment and support package which would deliver the desired results.
On completion of the job, significant volumes of liquids were recovered from the pre-inspection cleaning/decontamination processes and were all successfully treated on a single pass of the system. In total, circa 90m3 were generated and 98% of this was brought into limits for overboard discharge.
On evaluation he stated, “Engaging with the team at CUL took what was an at risk shutdown schedule to a delivered on time and on budget scope of work. The introduction of the top quality equipment and a team performing to the highest standards delivered results far beyond what Muehlhan and our client had anticipated.”
