The OPUS uses UV spectral analysis to photometrically report the Nitrate (NO3), Nitrate(NO2), UVT, UVA, inferred TOC/BOD/COD concentrations in water and waste water. The precise optical determination also takes into account turbidity and temparature. Different path lengths accommodate a wide range of measurement. Automatic compressed air cleaning may be simply integrated. Typically, the sensor is directly immersed in the sample channel. Options are available for flow cell installation with optional ultrasonic cleaning. Alternatively, an automatic wiper system may be simply attached. The robust stainless steel housing may be upgraded to a titanium construction for saline applications. The sensor may be connected to the Tribox mini or Tribox 3 controller of used as a blind sensor with a G2 interface. The sensor is ideal for water production monitoring applications such as intake protection or waste water process control and compliance monitoring.
