The PC 242 is a two-pump controller, designed to be used primarily in either gravitation or pressurised municipal wastewater pumping stations.
The controller is available in two versions: graphical display for a full user interface, and without display to suit budget applications. The level sensing in the pit may be done using float switches or a 4-20 mA sensor.
The viewing of alarms, manual control of pumps and setting changes can be carried out locally via the graphical user interface. They can also be done via the configuration software, AquaProg at a PC, connected directly to the local service port or remotely via a modem.
Settings are password protected on two levels to avoid unauthorised or accidental changes.
AquaProg can also be used for backing up the controller settings on the hard disc, and downloading alarms, events and historical data. The PC 242 can be fitted in a standard enclosure.
The PC 242 has advanced features, which minimise the costs in the pumping station throughout its whole lifecycle.
