Mitsubishi Sterapore SUR hollow fibre membrane units are designed to provide biological treatment in abattoirs, beverage production, chemical industry, food processing, municipal wastewater, pharmaceutical and tank cleaning applications.

They are designed to operate with high mixed liquor concentrations from 5,000 to 18,000mg/l, and with porosity of 0.4µm, which is smaller than the bacterial size, give a final effluent with zero suspended solids.

Zero solids in the permeate allows for clean effluents, which can often be reused/recycled.

Mitsubishi Sterapore SUR units have a modular design that enables fast, reliable construction. The designs incorporate pressurised backpulse and continuous air scouring to ensure long membrane life span and continuous performance.

A uniform construction of capillary-fibre homogeneous polyethylene gives the membrane a high-tensile strength, making it stretch resistant.
