The Type 8619 multiCELL transmitter / controller is a modular system for controlling water treatment processes within cooling tower systems. The multiCELL is fully compatible with Bürkert's range of sensors, control valves and dosing pumps, which are specially designed for this type of application. An integrated control system for water treatment applications enables faster and more reliable installation and commissioning, as well as reducing processing costs.

Integrated water treatment control systems

The Type 8619 multiCELL transmitter/controller enables processing costs in water treatment applications to be reduced by overseeing the direct connection and control of a wide range of sensors measuring parameters such as flow rate, pH, ORP, temperature and conductivity. The multiCELL can also be configured as a multipoint datalogger with data storage on SD cards.

Operation

The Type 8619 multiCELL is simple and intuitive to operate. It features a large graphical display with dynamically assigned function keys, clearly arranged menus and module structures that are easy to configure. Because of the system's advanced algorithms and electronics, process control can be maintained with minimal operator intervention. There are direct connections for various sensor types, as well as two digital and analogue outputs that drive solenoid valves, control valves and actuators.
