GRP one piece tanks (or cisterns) are used for cold water storage. Other applications are possible by using different resins, such as for storage at higher temperatures or for mild chemicals.

They are an economical alternative to sectional tanks. They promote quick installation whilst offering the same applications and similar components.

Applications

  • For the storage of water up to 55°C using standard resin, and up to 80°C using high temperature resin.
  • Also suitable for storage of mild and even some aggressive chemicals by using specially selected resins.
  • Often used as feed and expansion tanks for water at up to 55°C. Tanks for continuous operation up to 95°C can be also supplied.

Benefits and options

  • Available from our standard size range or we can custom build to your exact specifications.
  • Fully self-draining one piece tanks available.
  • Virtually zero maintenance.
  • Can be supplied as two-piece for restricted access.
  • Full range of connections/ancillary items available.
  • Pre-insulated one piece tanks are available with various insulation thicknesses
  • Standard tank colour is Grey 00-A-05 but can also be supplied in any BS5252 or RAL colour to suit requirements.

Manufacture

All one piece tanks are manufactured using GRP (glass reinforced plastics) to the highest standards.

They are WRAS approved and manufactured to BS EN 13280:2001.

All tanks are supplied within the scope of the BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems requirements.
