Since 1987, Industrial Blower Services has grown to become one of the UKs largest repair and service centres for roots type blowers. The company has worked closely with all of the blower manufacturers to build up a wide bank of knowledge and experience, especially Managing Director Graham Matthews.
Gary Killick joined in 1999, bringing experience from the sliding vane vacuum pump industry, from his 10 years working at Hammond Engineering. This enabled IBS to expand into the sliding vane market. The company is now the sole European distributor for Blackmer, who acquired Hammond Engineering in the late 1990s, and can repair and service all models.
IBS can handle all conveying requirements including pipework, silos, hoppers, rotary valves, blowers, screw, liquid ring and sliding vane compressors.
In 2008 IBS acquired PAG Sheetmetal in Hanwell, London providing the group with additional manufacturing facilities. It can now process and manufacture a variety of sheet metals.
IBS tailors its service to provide support for new and old machines. Experienced staff are able to analyse problems with faltering machinery and advise the most cost effective and rapid solution to customers problems.
IBS can respond quickly to emergencies and serves the industrial, utility, manufacturing, road tanker, municipal and commercial sectors of the market.
