Landia manufactures high-quality chopper pumps, which feature a unique, externally mounted knife system.
In production since the 1950s, Landia chopper pumps were the first chopper pumps on the world market.
The company also manufactures over 140 different permutations of submersible mixer, including the popular 150rpm, low floc, shear mixers. These were chosen by Yorkshire Water Services who awarded Landia the sole contract for the supply of all its anoxic and selector tank mixers.
Externally mounted knife systems can also be used in conjunction with air-jets to provide aeration systems with a cutting action and non-clog features.
Landias design and installation department ensures that the correct system is specified and installed for the particular application. Each project is evaluated on an individual basis.
