Landfill site surface water treatment for Rigmuir
Rigmuir was a new landfill site and, as such, was closely monitored by the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA). Hydroklear was approached to provide a suitable solution in the form of a containerised treatment plant. Hydroklear managed to provide this full package within a tight schedule and continues to assist in the operation and maintenance of the system.
Hydroklear was also able to provide consultancy for the required lagoon shut-off system which uses SMS to shut the outlet valve should the suspended solids levels exceed the site discharge consent.
