The TrojanUV3000™PTP (package treatment plant) UV disinfection unit is designed to treat flows up to 441.6m3/h with low-pressure lamps.
It can be equipped with pre-fabricated stainless steel channels and transition boxes for in-line integration with existing flanged piping.
The system can be retrofitted easily into existing chlorine contact tanks and effluent channels. It is supplied pre-tested, pre-assembled and wired to minimise installation and engineering costs.
TrojanUV3000™PTP has a modular design and a robust construction. It is simple to operate and only requires minimal operator input.
Applications
- Secondary and tertiary effluent UV disinfection
- Chlorine conversion to UV disinfection
Features and benefits
Advanced, self-contained UV modules
Space-saving, electronic ballasts are housed in the modules, not in separate external cabinets, minimising the footprint of the UV system and eliminating the need for air-conditioning. The ballasts are cooled by convection, thereby reducing O&M costs. Each UV module features a UV lamp status indicator for at-a-glance confirmation that all lamps are operating.
Proven performance, components and design
Has been validated through regulatory-endorsed bioassay testing and installed in over 1000 installations worldwide. Performance data is generated from actual field testing (bioassay validation) over a range of flow rates, effluent qualities and UVTs - providing confidence in the system design. This modular system is scalable and can be installed outdoors to reduce installation costs.
Highly flexible installation configurations
It has pre-engineered stainless steel channels with built-in weirs that are installed as a freestanding structure. The stainless steel channels are easily integrated with existing flanged piping using Trojan’s highly flexible transition boxes.
