Backwash self cleaning filters
The surface filtration element collects solid particles on the outside of the element. By reversing the fluid flow (controlled by valves) the solids and some liquid is discharged. Filtration can then continue in the forward direction: all stainless steel elements; filtration ratings as low as 0.5 microns.
