A large landfill site, windswept and exposed, situated one field away from a burgeoning residential development was receiving a torrent of complaints. To address this, Corgin was commissioned by the Operations Manager to install an effective form of odour suppression.

Taking all elements into consideration, Corgin recommended its signature system, AtomisterAiro, to the client.

Most of the complaints were arising from the northern perimeter so 63 high tech nozzles were mounted upon wooden poles along its edge.

The system was designed to be as economical as possible, with wind vane control, meaning that the nozzles only operated when the wind was blowing towards the sensitive receptors.

The client recognised that without a good maintenance package in place for the large system which was exposed to the elements, something was likely to go wrong eventually. Taking out a Bronze CarePlan package meant that the risk was transferred from the client to Corgin and, as long as the system is covered by CarePlan, Corgin's warranty on the system would be maintained.

The Bronze CarePlan package included:

1 intermediate and 1 full service, carried out outside of normal business hours
2 legionella tests and reports
1 emergency call-out
Technical support by telephone
All minor spares

This has given the client constant peace of mind that the system is performing to standard.
