MSE Hiller is pleased to announce that the company has been successful in winning the Centrifuge Maintenance, Overhaul and Hire Services Framework contract with the Northumbrian Water Group.

Northumbrian Water covers an area of 9,422km2 with 2.5m water customers and 2.7m wastewater customers. With over 400 treatment works and 77,850 tonnes of dry sludge produced per year, the maintenance and overhaul of it’s installed centrifuge base is a crucial operation.

The service and support is provided by MSE Hiller from a purpose-built facility at Markham Vale. This is backed up with on-site service engineers who carry out a regular condition monitoring service, ensuring that the machines are always maintained and in full working condition.

The framework, which started on the 1st October 2015 runs for a three-year period and has a possible extension period for a further two years.

MSE Hiller were the only company to be awarded on all three lots which also covered major overhaul and hire services for the Northumbrian Water Group.

The fleet of mobile sludge dewatering rigs available from MSE Hiller cover capacities from 1 to 120 m3/hr and are available for deployment at short notice for temporary sludge dewatering at clean water and waste water treatment sites.
