Typically employed where the suspended solids / DNAPL concentrations are low, and where equipment height restrictions might apply. It simultaneously separates LNAPLs of 60 microns and larger by flotation and removes settleable solids and dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPLs) which sink and are collected in the base before being drawn off.
