AERZEN technicians are specialists in restoring blowers and compressors to working order as quickly as possible.

General overhaul

AERZEN's general overhaul service includes the fitting and testing of all parts that need to be replaced from time to time, eg bearing and sealing elements in blowers.

For a general overhaul, the blower stage is:

disassembled, cleaned; bearing and sealing will be replaced and adjusted according to AERZEN clearance chart.
reassembled into the unit and a test run completes the procedure.

A warranty of 6 months is provided for completed works.

Repairs and service exchange

AERZEN offer repairs on all of its profiles and service exchange replacements on its 3 lobe blower and hybrid range.

All repair work is carried out at the company's Loughton-based workshop.

How repairs work

Machine inspection - AERZEN fully dismantles and inspects all major parts, measures the clearance, checks the condition of the internal and tries to establish the cause of the problem so that future occurrences may be avoided.
Quotation and report - quotations and reports are sent via email. Reports will detail AERZEN's findings and recommend what work should be carried out. The company aims to have machines inspected and quoted within 48 hours of receipt. If the cost is high due to excessive damage, it will recommend an alternative, such as a new or refurbished replacement.
Repair on order receipt - the machine stays at the workshop until an order is received or it can be returned dismantled if the client does not wish to proceed*. AERZEN aims to have to have all machines repaired within 5 working days from placement of order and clients are kept up to date with automated status updates. Where applicable, machines undergo vibration testing to ensure a quality build.
Completion and dispatch - AERZEN contacts the client to confirm completion. Unless stated otherwise at quotation phase, the machine will be delivered using a next working day pallet service.

How service exchange works

Contact - if clients have contacted AERZEN seeking a solution for a machine needing an overhaul the company will offer a repair or service exchange if available. Service exchanges offer the quickest possible turnaround solution.
Offer - AERZEN will offer like-for-like replacement for 3 lobe blower or hybris for a fixed price. Exchanges are accepted in any condition as long as they haven't been stripped down. Service exchanges are readily available and provide a good cost-effective option for lowest downtime.
Order and exchange - if the client is happy with AERZEN's offer places an order the exchange can be processed. This can be done in a number of ways. Either send the machine in and, once received, AERZEN will dispatch a replacement on a next day service or can collect and deliver at the same time.
What to do with the old machine - AERZEN would treat this like any other repair, and inspect and completely overhaul the stage with guaranteed OEM parts ready for exchange.

Must haves: original parts

Only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts can guarantee pinpoint accuracy. Despite standardised terminology, there are always small differences in the manufacturing process that in extreme cases can drastically reduce a machine’s lifespan.
