GVF Sub-vertical Mechanical Fine Bar Screens are mechanical screening units for medium-fine screening in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. They're available in eight standard channel widths from 400mm to 1,400mm, with wider and intermediate sizes available on request. A robust steel frame holds a stainless steel bar filter, with chain-driven rakes continuously clearing the bars and conveying captured solids to a discharge point.
Fine bar spacing (6–10mm) for high-protection screening of municipal and industrial wastewater
Eight standard channel widths from 400mm to 1,400mm, up to 2,000mm on request
Stainless steel rake tines, precision laser-cut for consistent alignment with fine bar spacing
Self-lubricating bronze bush in a sealed casing reduces maintenance needs
No need to remove the screen from the channel for routine servicing
Optional goose-neck discharge increases the incline angle up to 90°
Applications
Medium-fine screening at municipal and industrial wastewater inlets
