FINEGUARD Moving Fine Screen is a perforated plate fine screen used for removing floating and submerged debris in water and wastewater treatment. Designed for installation downstream of coarse screens, it prevents clogging and damage to downstream equipment. Panels move continuously from the screening zone to a cleaning mechanism for waste removal.

  • Perforated plate screen for fine debris removal in water and wastewater channels

  • Two-stage cleaning with rotating self-adjusting brush and water jets using low wash water volume

  • Side sealing system made from wear-resistant ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE)

  • Screen can be hinged out of flow for simple maintenance

  • Fully retractable spray bar for easy access

  • Customisable to suit a wide range of applications

Applications

  • Inlet works in water and wastewater treatment plants downstream of coarse screens

Features and Benefits

  • The screens can be designed to suit channels of up to 3m (10ft) and a channel depth up to10m
(32ft) - channel flow criteria considered.

  • Available with 3mm to 6mm diameter perforated screen panels.

  • Typical hydraulic flows from 40 l/sec (0.9MGD) to 2,500l/sec (57MGD).

  • Two-stage cleaning of screen media - including a rotating self-adjusting brush and water jets.

  • Service and maintenance are simple, the screen can be hinged out of flow for maintenance

  • purposes. Fully retractable spray bar - allows for easy access.

  • Reliable and durable side sealing system.
