Industrie De Nora S.p.A., the original company founded in 1923 by Oronzio De Nora, is the holding company and headquarters of the De Nora Group, coordinating, supporting and establishing the strategic guidelines through its Corporate Functions.

The business is organized in two business lines:-

• Electrode technologies - the core business on which the company was established in 1923 by Oronzio De Nora

• Water technologies - a natural extension of electrochemical solutions for water disinfection and advanced oxidation processes, the Water Technologies line addresses all issues related to water with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for filtration and disinfection.

The water technology business came about following De Nora's acquisition of Severn Trent Services' Water Purification group.

De Nora Water Technologies, together with Ozono Elettronica Internazionale - a global specialist in ozone technologies, acquired in May 2015 - where integrated into the De Nora business in 2015. De Nora customers and partners  have access to a full range of disinfection solutions for water and wastewater treatment spanning gas feed, chlorine dioxide, electrolytic, ultraviolet, and ozone disinfection from the world's best known brand names such as Capital Controls, SEACLOR, ClorTec, and OMNIPURE, in addition to the TETRA and UAT filtration lines.
