Higgins & Hewins are a major supplier of air & gas purification medias and systems.

Started in 1982 the Air & Gas Division has acquired unparalleled experience solving environmental problems across the industrial sector. Following the acquisition of the water division of Jones & Attwood Ltd by Eimco (now Ovivo) in 2005 the division became Higgins & Hewins Ltd.

Higgins & Hewins stock many grades of activated carbon and activated alumina.

Potassium permanganate impregnation from Alphasorb provides effective final polishing. SulfaTreat media is also available for H2S removal from biogas and landfill gas. Higgins & Hewins also have a special impregnation for emergency chlorine scrubbers.
