Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)

The NERC is the UKs agency for funding and managing research, training and knowledge exchange in the environmental sciences.

It co-ordinates research projects, tackling major issues such as climate change and environmental influences on human health.

Working internationally, it operates research ships and aircraft and invests in satellite technology to monitor gradual environmental change on a global scale.
