Robin Mackenzie Partnership is one of the UK's largest acoustic consultancies and a leader in its field. The practice operates throughout the UK. RMP was established in 1969 by Professor Robin Mackenzie. Since 1997 it has been operating as an acoustic consultancy division of Edinburgh Napier University.

RMP Acoustic Consultants provide expert advice on sound insulation testing and architectural acoustic design, industrial noise reduction, environmental noise and vibration control, noise mapping and air tightness testing. RMP also offers expert witness services and laboratory acoustic testing of materials.

RMP carries out 500+ projects per year, ranging from sound insulation testing to major architectural acoustic design projects like Quartermile in Edinburgh or Robust Details research. An extensive client database includes the UK’s largest construction companies, government, local authorities, leading architect practices, contractors, developers, building material manufacturers, housing associations and private clients.
