The ELIQUO HYDROK range of hire solutions is specifically designed for rental to help in emergency situations where an existing plant problem requires a rapid solution. This could be in the form of operational overload during seasonal peak periods, during planned maintenance activities, where extended plant capacity is needed, or where a pilot or test of the new technology is required in an actual active situation.
ELIQUO HYDROK hire solutions are manufactured in our own factory ready to be installed as needed and include the HY-SAF package treatment plant (IFAS technology), HyER Diffuser Liftout Grids, both using ultra fine bubble aeration and Pile Cloth Media Filtration tertiary treatment stainless steel tanks for phosphorus removal, TSS reduction and 'priority substance' removal.
ELIQUO HYDROK-Mecana tertiary treatment for hire
The ELIQUO HYDROK range of Pile Cloth Media Filters (PCMF) is available to treat flows ranging from 3 to 250 l/sec in stainless steel tank units, the standard size for hire is 3 x 4m. The system is designed for:
- Tertiary phosphorus removal in combination with precipitation / flocculation bespoke design for Ptot consent from 1mg/l to less than 0.1mg/l
- Tertiary filtration for TSS reduction downstream of humus or secondary settlement tanks (<5mg/l TSS achievable)
Micro-pollutant ‘Priority Substance’ removal
Units have been hired out to Thames Water for their Windsor WwTW and Sherborne in Wessex Water both to provide robust TSS compliance. Each hire unit is made in the ELIQUO HYDROK factory and transported to the required location for easy connection and rapid operational action. An additional UV / ultrasound disinfection can also be included in the outlet pipe should this be required.
Hire - HY-SAF package treatment plant
The ELIQUO HYDROK Hybrid Submerged Aerated Filter (HY-SAF) offers a power efficient, robust, small footprint biological wastewater treatment solution designed to achieve the final effluent consent standard required. These have been used at a Devon brewery as a temporary treatment plant during essential maintenace, and also as pilot plants in other industrial applications where a flexible temporary solution is required.
HY-SAF package treatment works are suitable for treating municipal wastewater and industrial effluents - offering a complete turnkey package.
The standard HY-SAF stainless steel tank measures nominally 3 x 4m, offering a hire solution for up to 300 PE (population equivalent), additional units can be combined to increase the overall potential capacity. It incorporates the IFAS (Integrated Fixed-Film Activated Sludge) technology of high efficient fine bubble diffusers combined with fixed bed media curtains.
Hire - HyER Diffuser Liftout Grids
ELIQUO HYDROK's HyER Liftout Diffuser Grids are specifically designed for rental to help in emergency situations where an existing plant problem requires a rapid aeration solution. They are available in a range of standard sizes and are available at short notice to suit aeration requirements and space restrictions. Multiple units can be combined as needed and may be leased individually, with a suitable blower, or can be supplied to feed from an existing on-site air supply - offering a totally flexible solution to suit any application.
Examples of application include for South West Water at Dawlish for the peak holiday periods and at Collumpton near Exeter during planned site maintenance.
