The RGi-xx24-2 refrigerant gas detector is comprised of a STAREX General ABS box (SD-0150) housing the electronic circuitry to detect the presence of the nominated refrigerant gas.

The alarm threshold can be adjusted via the control panel.

A red LED will illuminate, and an internal Piezo buzzer will sound, to indicate the detection of refrigerant gas above the set level.

As standard the detector is factory calibrated to 5000PPM.

The detector can detect the following refrigerant gases:

R-12, R-22, R125, R-134a, R-401a, R-401b, R-401c, R-402a, R-402b, R-403a, R-403b, R-407a, R-407b, R-407c, R-502, R-507, R-410a, R-422d, R32.

These are a sample of most commonly used, but others are available.

Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN bus system.

NB: This model uses semiconductor technology to detect CFCs and HFCs within refrigerant gas. CFCs and HFCs are also present within aerosols and cleaning products.
