Aquatreat supplies anti-fouling aspirators for wastewater treatment
Aquatreat's anti-fouling aspirators have been developed in response to the growing challenges posed by flushed wipes and rugs, and other heavy debris conditions in water and wastewater treatment systems.
Operating without aerosols or any need for fine screening, the anti-fouling aspirators can be integrated into either new or existing treatment systems.
Operation
Anti-fouling aspirators feature a patented rotating propeller which forces water outward horizontally past the end of the shaft, creating a vacuum that draws atmospheric air down the shaft. The air is then dispersed in a large plume of fine bubbles to maximise oxygen dispersion and mixing.
The dual-bladed propeller design, coupled with hooded water intakes, reduces ragging in plants without the need for fine screening.
Sizes
Units are available in motor sizes of 7.5–22kW.
Installation
Flexible sizing and mounting options allow for easy installation across a variety of applications, as well as oxygen dispersion throughout the entire basin, regardless of its size or shape.
