ACWA Nitreat® Ion Exchange Nitrate Removal Technology is a water treatment system designed to reduce nitrate levels in water using a continuous counter current ion exchange process. Installed in over 38 UK plants, it handles flows from 3MLD to 92MLD and removes up to 13,818kg/NO3 per day. System uses multiple vessels in series to minimise waste and optimise softened water use.
