Pump Types
Ram Pumps (Hydraulic Ram Pumps) Robust, reciprocating piston pump driven by an electrically powered hydraulic power unit. Heavy-duty construction with an anticipated working life in excess of 20 years. The stainless steel sludge ram features maintenance-free chevron seals replaceable without ram removal. Available in six ram sizes: 110, 160, 267, 320, 415 and 495.
Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps (AODD) Positive displacement pump using two alternating diaphragm chambers powered by compressed air. Reliable and easy to maintain; suited to low-pressure applications. Limitations include noise and susceptibility to freezing in low temperatures.
Piston Diaphragm Pumps Combines the high discharge pressure of a piston pump with the leak-free characteristics of a diaphragm pump.
Progressive Cavity Pumps Suited to viscous fluids, high flow rates or high discharge pressures. Commonly used for slurries, sludges, pulps and digestate from wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion facilities.
Centrifugal Pumps Turbomachines generating flow via centrifugal force from a rotating impeller; available in radial or axial discharge configurations.
Peristaltic Pumps Positive displacement pump type suited to abrasive or shear-sensitive media.
