Halia® Oxygen sludge digestion offers a compact, effective alternative to conventional aeration. • Increased oxygen delivery rates, leading to faster digestion and higher pathogen kill • Only 3 to 5 days treatment; less than half the retention time of most air digestors. • Operates at thermophilic temperatures (typically 45 to 65°C) • Lower power consumption than aerators can offer • Produces highly stable digested sludge which can typically be dewatered to 25-30% dry solids using conventional apparatus
The Halia® Oxygen sludge digestion can be either retro-fitted in open tanks and operated in a similar fashion to a conventional activated sludge basin, or included in the design of a new sludge treatment plant.
