The DecaFood® DF54-362S is for continuous, hygienic solid-liquid separation of two-phase mixtures in the food and beverage industry.

It is typically used in food and juice processing plants with materials such as apple, carrot, ginger, elderflower, raspberry and orange.

The high rotational speeds accelerate the separation of a solid-liquid suspension where the specific density of the liquid is less than the specific density of the solid. The natural pressing action in the Decapress Decafood produces a product of high quality.

Sealed arrangements and centripetal pump discharge ensures little contamination and oxidation of the product and the unit can be used for both clear and cloudy juices.

A full clean-in-place (CIP) facility can be supplied with the machine along with all the necessary infrastructure such as pumps, pipework, control and automation system conveyors and flowmeters.

Being compact and enclosed, the unit offers a high capacity within a very small floor space.
