Grit channel covers are used for odour control purposes in holding tanks where flexibility is needed to allow unrestricted movement of process equipment.

A bespoke aluminium or stainless steel frame supports two air-regulated inflated fabric tubes which press together to create an excellent odour barrier whilst still allowing mechanical parts to pass between them.

This solution was developed in conjunction with Birse Water Limited for the control of odour within the grit channels at the Mogden sewage treatment works site in London.
