The Series 5000 skimmer is a heavy oil recovery system based on a specially designed chain link belt. The system is capable of recovering 30 tonnes of oil per hour and is suitable for use on beaches, in lagoons and at sea.

The collecting and conveying method enables oil to be deposited in a hopper for pumping away; directly into containers; or conveyed to storage by a second conventional belt conveyor.

The skimmer is trailer mounted on a turn table for ease of handling and rapid deployment. It can also be mounted on board a ship.
