Tuke & Bell - grit & silt removal

Supplier of grit removal systems for sewage treatment plants. The grit detritor transports grit that has settled out in collection tanks to a discharge point, whilst washing the grit to return any organic matter to the treatment process. The vortex grit trap has paddles that give the sewage flow a constant velocity keeping organic material in suspension but allowing grit to settle out. The grit is removed by an air lift pump.
