Bürkert’s modular, intelligent and flexible ELEMENT range combines controllers, valves and sensors in a stainless steel housing – making them ideal for use in hygienic processes. Using this integrated family of products, it is possible to equip many process systems entirely with fittings from the ELEMENT series.

ELEMENT components can be easily inserted or removed from the system and can be combined in a wide variety of configurations, allowing for a complete system approach with control loops from a single source.

ELEMENT products are built in stainless steel specifically for use in hygienic or environmentally aggressive applications. They easy to replace, clean and maintain, and also deliver precision and accuracy across a broad spectrum of process fluids.

The ELEMENT range includes Bürkert valves for ON/OFF and continuous control applications and a range of sensors for flow, ph/ORP, conductivity and level for a wide variety of application environments.

Robolux Valves are part of Bürkert’s ELEMENT product family. These multiport diaphragm valves – Type 2036 and Type 8806 – facilitate excellent cleaning and increase overall process reliability. Now they can be combined with Bürkert’s ELEMENT-Series of control heads to provide a comprehensive base for the decentralised automation of hygienic processes.

Based on diaphragm valve technology, these patented valves combine independent dual process switching functions in a single body with a single diaphragm and single actuator.

Bürkert ELEMENT valves

ELEMENT stainless steel valves are IP65/67, rugged, hygienic and easy to clean and use. The ELEMENT actuator design facilitates integration of automation units at all levels of the modular valve system, from the position transmitter to the electro-pneumatic positioner or process controller.

The compact Type 2101 globe valve promises long service life and easy integration of automation units thanks to ELEMENT technology.

Bürkert ELEMENT positioners and controllers

Bürkert has improved the functionality of our ELEMENT positioners and controllers with ATEX and IECEx approvals for operation in Zones 2/22 and 1/21, where potentially explosive atmospheres may exist. We have also increased the number of diagnostic features and integrated this device family with the Bürkert COMMUNICATOR tool.

The compact Type 8692 Positioner is optimised for integrated mounting on pneumatic actuators. The housing is easy to clean and features proven IP protection and chemically resistant materials for use in hygienic processing, in food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Bürkert ELEMENT Flowmeters

Bürkert ELEMENT Flowmeters are available with one or two transistor outputs and single or dual 4-20 mA current output versions. They also feature automatic-calibration, with TEACH-IN, which simulates output signals without the need for real flow.

The Type 8026 Paddle Wheel Flowmeter is a compact device, specially designed for measuring the flow rate in solid-free liquids, in a variety of applications, such as water, waste water monitoring and chemical processing.
