Designed to aerate activated sludge basins and tanks in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. They are quick and easy to assemble by rotating diffusers clockwise into screwed connection, and designed to provide optimum performance.

Features and benefits

  • For fixed or removable aeration systems

  • High oxygenation

  • High chemical resistance

  • Mechanical and abrasion resistant

  • Compatible with very high temperatures

  • Totally recyclable

  • Regeneration of the diffusers by cleaning the membrane with formic acid

  • Certified by Inrae

Components

Diffuser body

Manufactured in glass reinforced polypropylene giving excellent resistance to abrasion, most chemicals with significant mechanical strength.

Membrane

Made from EPDM to prevent water penetration into the distribution pipework when the air is stopped.

Clamps

Secure the membrane to the diffuser body;

  • AQUADISC® 250 / 305: stainless steel or polypropylene

  • AQUADISC® 320: glass fibre reinforced polypropylene

Fitting

Aquadisc® difusers are mounted by turning clockwise using a 3/4’’ thread conical gas type fitting.
