Membrane filter presses are designed to achieve significantly higher cake solids and lower residual moisture than conventional recessed chamber presses. By incorporating flexible membrane plates that inflate after the filtration stage, additional pressure is applied directly to the filter cake, extracting entrained liquid and producing drier solids, reduced disposal volumes and shorter processing cycles. Membrane inflation can be achieved using compressed air or liquid.

  • Membrane squeeze pressures for maximum cake dryness

  • Higher solids content than standard chamber filter presses

  • Reduced filtration cycle times and increased throughput

  • Air or water membrane inflation

  • Achieves dry matter contents from 30 - 80%
