The Q45H/62-63 residual chlorine monitor offers easy online monitoring and control of chlorinations systems.
It is avaliable in a choice of two versions: the free chlorine monitor, which is designed for drinking and cooling water systems; and the combined chlorine monitor, which is designed for chloraminated drinking water and waste water effluents where sufficient ammonia is present prior to chlorination to result in a predominantly monochloramine residual.
The monitor is fed by a constant-head flowcell that ensures there is a constant flow of water passing over the face of the sensor to give reliable and accurate measurement readings.
AC powdered units can be run with dual measurement capability to give outputs for chlorine and pH using the optional pH sensor.
The Q45H/62-63 residual chlorine monitor use a membrane-covered polarographic sensor that does not require the addition of chemical reagents, which reduces cleaning requirements. It has no moving parts, so there are no pumps or motors that burn out or tubing breaks.
