Compound microscopes with built-in digital cameras

Cole-Parmer offers economical monocular microscopes and professional binocular microscopes that combine the benefits of digital photography and excellent microscopy technology.

The microscopes can be used as stand-alone units, or be plugged into a computer to capture, label, measure, store, or e-mail digital images of specimens. All models include easy-to-use Windows® software. Audio comments can also be recorded along with the images.

Binocular microscopes display analogue and digital images simultaneously.
These microscopes feature wide-field 10x (18mm) eyepieces with interpupillary adjustment and rubber eyepiece cups.

A pointer comes as standard in one eyepiece. A three-position sliding rod directs light 100% to binocular eyepieces, or 100% to camera, or 70% to camera and 30% to eyepieces.

Binocular microscopes have a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser with rack-and-pinion focusing, iris diaphragm, and swing-out filters in blue, green, and yellow.
The large stage features a built-in low profile, ball-bearing-mounted, mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial controls; and 70mm (x) x 50 mm (y) movement with 0.1mm graduations.

The microscope has coaxial coarse and fine focus: the coarse focus has tension adjustment, whilst the fine focus is graduated.
