Curved screens
The prominent feature of this screen is that it slices the water with wedge wire bars in such a way that solids only half the size of the slot width are retained on the screen while the water falls through. Standard slot widths are 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1, 1.5, and 2 mm.
Rotary drum screens
There are two types available - the inside fed and outside fed rotary drum screen. Standard slot widths are 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, and 2 mm. The screens can be equipped with a brushes or a water-based cleaning device.
Channel screens
The Aquarake is a self-cleaning filter system which can be installed directly into an open channel. This means that the water can be screened without any pumping. The filter surface consists of an endless belt of high quality plastic fingers which is moved by chains and a motor drive. The size of the separated solids is determined by the slot width between the plastic fingers.
