SOMAS type VSS butterfly valves are used for control, on/off and shut-off applications.

They are designed to handle liquids, gases or steam across a wide range of temperatures.

The valves have an advanced triple-eccentric design. This includes a uniquely shaped disc that allows a solid stainless steel seat to be used. The solid seat is unaffected by high flow velocities and temperatures. A good valve function is achieved even on difficult applications.

VSS valves can be mounted between flanges and are also supplied in lugged design.

They are delivered ready for installation and operation, and are factory tested as complete units with actuators, positioners and accessories.
