Burkerts Type 8221 conductivity sensor has a hygienic design and robust construction. It is suitable for demanding conditions in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and the general chemical industries.
The sensor has four-electrode technology that gives an extended measuring range from 0.1 – S...500 mS/cm. This eliminates the polarisation phenomena normally observed with two-electrode sensors.
The engineered design guarantees linearity over a wide conductivity range. An integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor is a standard feature of all versions.
It is designed for applications subject to CIP (clean in place) operations, and its high-quality surface finish allows it to remain in situ even during steam sterilisation.
