Z Series decanter horizontal centrifuges are designed for continuous two-phase separation of suspended solids from liquids (such as thickening and dewatering sludge), separating suspensions with granular solids, clarification of liquids and the classification of fine pigments.

They are available in sizes, from pilot scale or small production up to industrial scale with capacities up to 250m3/h.

Typical applications include:

  • dewatering and thickening of sludge from municipal and industrial waste water.
  • production of plastics (PVC, HDPE).
  • the recovery of animal and vegetal basic products (oils/fats, starch, proteins).
  • beverages (wine, beer, fruit/vegetable juices).
