The Klaricell RJ™ dissolved air flotation (DAF)/sand filtration clarifier uses a combination of DAF clarification and double media sand filtration to produce high-quality filtered water in a single, continuously operating clarifier.

It is commonly used for tertiary treatment, treating surface water to potable quality, removing algae from water streams for municipal or industrial use, preparing and recycling process water, and removing heavy metals, such as cadmium and nickel from water.

The Klaricell RJ™ dissolved air flotation/sand filtration clarifier only has one sludge outlet, which removes filter media backwash sludge and concentrates it to a 1% minimum consistency by flotation. It can accept high inlet suspended solid concentrations up to 150mg/l.

It does not need any external tanks for clean water or backwash storage as backwash water is both provided and treated internally.

Eleven sizes are available, to suit flows from 120 to 1480m3/h.
