They are also used for biological sludge clarification after aeration tanks, which can raise the concentration in the aeration tanks up to 8-10g/l.
Sedicell™ dissolved air flotation clarifiers can provide a high floated sludge consistency, even without polymers. They are available in 18 sizes, from 2.4-20m in diameter. The clarifier construction allows the tank to be fabricated from stainless steel or concrete.
Sludge extraction can be controlled automatically with a sludge blanket controller, which allows fully automatic operation, whilst maintaining optimal operating conditions.
