The HyperClassic® mixer and aerator is specifically designed for demanding applications in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.

Its design is similar to the HyperClassic® vertical shaft mixer, but including an air sparger directly below the impeller. The mixer / aerator provides high oxygen input and efficient mixing with low energy consumption and low maintenance costs.

Applications

  • BOD / COD reduction and nitrification in conventional activated sludge plants
  • Oxidation ditches, carousel tanks or aerated ponds
  • Membrane bioreactor plants (MBRs)
  • Sequencing batch reactor plants (SBRs)
  • Swing zones with facultative denitrification / nitrification
  • Pure oxygen plants
