The Aqua-Lator® mechanical floating aerator is designed for wastewater treatment applications in aerated lagoons, sequencing batch reactors (SBR), stabilisation basins, activated sludge and anaerobic digestion systems. They can also be used for stream aeration, rservoir stagnation prevention and upgrading existing ponds.

The powerful pumping action of the aerator transfers oxygen by breaking up the wastewater into a spray of particles, which creates a larger surface area for atmospheric pressure to drive the oxygen into the waste water. At the same time, the oxygen enriched water is dispersed and mixed.

Aqua-Lator® aerators are available in a wide range of configurations to suit any application. Additional units can be easily added at any time and existing units can be repositioned or upgraded if required to cope with changing conditions. It automatically adjusts to changes in water levels to ensure continuous, optimum operating efficiency.
