FRED Floatables Re-entrainment Device is designed for mixing and re-entraining floatable material in basins using downdraft flow and a dual action impeller, preventing settlement and crust formation without discharging from the basin. Made from AISI 304/316 stainless steel or special stainless steel, with float-mounted, vertical operation and surface drive options. Motor sizes range from 1.1 kW to 22 kW.

  • Mixes and re-entrains floatable material in basins

  • Dual action impeller for effective mixing

  • Non-clogging design for reliable operation

  • Easy to install and remove

  • Float-mounted for flexible water levels

  • Direct drive motors with 4–6 pole speed

  • Suitable for viscous and sludge bulking applications

Applications

Viscous and sludge bulking applications

Grease trap systems upstream of biological reactors
