- Media screened
- Sludge / slurry / sewage
- Wastewater / effluent
- Flow capacity
- up to 9.5 M3/hr (loading); up to 8.0 l/s (flow laundering)
The Jacopa® screw compactor is suitable for dewatering sewage screenings to be reused, unwashed, for composting – the high organically loaded screenings encourage the composting process and subsequent conversion of waste to energy.
The Jacopa® screw compactor incorporates the original Jones+Attwood™ features that have a proven record of reliability and robustness. Jacopa's new design now receives flows from water-powered launders and incorporates a 9mm thick drainage trough for ruggedness and 6mm tapered holes for improved drainage – built with lowering Totex in mind.
It is available in 5 standard sizes with loading capacity ranging between 0.5 and 9.5 (m³/hr) and launder flows up to 8.0l/s.
