The Visoturb 700 IQ turbidity sensor and the Visolid 700 IQ sensor are part of the IQ Sensor Net range.


The Visoturb 700 IQ turbidity sensor digitally scales over the measuring range 0-4,000NTU. It uses nephlometric light scatter (IR light source) to measure the turbidity of a water or waste water sample. The sensor can be directly immersed into the measurement channel or tank. Continuous ultrasonic cleaning is used to maintain the sapphire measurement window. The robust stainless steel housing makes the sensor ideal for waste water measurement and it is typically installed for final effluent compliance measurement. The sensor is also ideally suited for raw water – river intake protection at drinking water production sites.


The Visolid 700 IQ MLSS suspended solids sensor digitally scales over the measuring range 0-300g/l. It uses light scatter (IR light source) to measure the suspended solids concentrations in liquors. The sensor can be directly immersed into the measurement channel or tank. Continuous ultrasonic cleaning is used to maintain the sapphire measurement window. The robust stainless steel housing makes the sensor ideal for waste water measurement and it is typically installed within aerobic digestion treatment processes to maintain the correct MLSS concentrations.


The robust armature construction provides protection but also digital communicates to a controller. The digital communication prevents signal loss and ensure precise measurement. The sensor also features sensor diagnostics to report a fault condition.

The ingress protection of the sensor is IP68 and the display/controller is IP66.

Multiple sensor connection to a single controller covering a wide range of parameters provides unrivalled flexibility and expandability. Parameters include ammonium, nitrate, conductivity, pH, redox and DO.
