The CopaSac® screen is the original sack screening system that has no moving parts, and uses disposable sacs. Being of modular design, it can be made to fit into most sewage treatment applications, whether a retrofit to an existing works or as part of a new scheme.

CopaSac® is primarily used to screen settled sewage in a dosing syphon or distribution chamber, improving the integrity of the works by protecting the filter sparge arm nozzles from blockage.

Other applications include storm overflows and tanks, final effluent, and river and seawater intakes.

CopaSac® is installed directly into the flow path of the fluid being screened, and is fitted with handles to facilitate removal. They can be manufactured in GRP or stainless steel, and mesh sizes include 3, 6 and 12mm.

Copatrawl™ is the larger version of the CopaSac® screen capable of receiving 150l/s per sack.
