Lightnin® LabMaster™ mixers deliver precise, programmable control of mixing speed and process power, both in the lab and at the plant. Patented mixing impellers provide maximum efficiency in high-viscosity, gas-liquid contacting, blending, and solids suspension processes. The reversible rotation feature allows the mixer to pump upwards as well as down.
Mixers come with an RS-232 interface kit, Mixer-Connect™ software, a temperature probe, and a 3m RJ11 to RJ22 communication cable. Easily measure, calculate, display, or record eight repeatable fluid mixing scale-up parameters - power, torque, flow, temperature, speed, timer, direction of rotation, and impeller style - using the Mixer-Connect™ software and a computer.
The software can be used to control and obtain data from five mixers simultaneously. It also enables the collection, monitoring, plotting and recording of data for up to 32 LabMaster™ mixers without bulky interface devices. Validation data can be easily exported. Input can be monitored on the display or formatted to ASCII files for storage on a computer.
Repeatable data entry via the splashproof digital keypad greatly enhances process consistency and ensures accurate scale-up. Visible and audible prompts guide the user through program and data entry. The pumping capacity feature calculates flow rates for six different impeller designs, making it ideal for studying flow patterns and determining tank turnover rates.
Two mixer types - standard and high torque - are available. Standard mixers offer excellent flow and fluid shear characteristics for low- to medium-viscosity liquids. High-torque mixers are recommended for high-viscosity or high-torque applications.
